Itinerary: Tashkent – Nukus – Aral Sea – Nukus – Khiva – Tashkent
Length: 6 days/ 5 nights

Notice: this is an adventure tour with high difficulty level, characterized by overcoming long distances by car on off-road. Daily routes with an average length of 200-450 km. Distance to both ends 800-850 km. Nights in tents and sleeping bags in the desert. Dinner by the fire.
Programme:
Day 1: Tashkent
Arrival at Tashkent International Airport, transfer to hotel. Hotel accommodation after 14:00 or early check in. Day tour of the city.
Day 2: Tashkent – Nukus
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the local airport. Departure by morning flight to Nukus. Arrival at Nukus airport, transfer to hotel. Hotel accommodation after 14:00. Visit to the state museum named after I.V. Savitsky. Sightseeing of Mizdahan complex. You will learn the most interesting things about monuments and history of the region. Dinner. Night in Nukus.
Day 3: Nukus – Ustyurt Plateau – abandoned fishing village Urga – Lake Sudochye – Aral Sea (450 km)
Leaving the hotel early in the morning. You will be told a story about the times of tsar Russia exiles and deported peoples during the Stalin’s period. On arrival to the Aral Sea, a walk along the coast, dinner by the fire, a night in tents and sleeping bags.
Day 4: Aral Sea – Ustyurt – Muynak – Nukus Plateau (450 km)
In the morning after breakfast drive on the plateau of Ustyurt to the most picturesque canyons and chinkas of Ustyurt, and through the dried bottom of the Aral Sea to the fishing villages of Uchsai and Muynak. In Muinak a tour of the cemetery of ships, estuary of the famous river Amudarya, a visit to the museum of the Aral Sea with its most interesting paintings. Departure to Nukus. Arrival in hotel. Dinner. Night in Nukus.
Day 5: Nukus – Toprak-Kala – Ayaz-Kala (200 km)
Departure to Ayaz-Kala, on the way visit archaeological monuments of the III century Chilpik (Zoroastrian dahma) and fortress Toprak kala (residence of the dynasty of Khorezm khans). Arrival at Ayaz Kala archaeological complex. Dinner and overnight at Ayaz Kala yurt camp.
Day 6: Ayaz-Kala – Khiva (130 km)
In the morning drive to explore Big Guldursun fortress, then a trip to the city of Khiva. In Khiva visits to museums, mosques and madrasahs. Drive to Urgench city – administrative center of Khorezm region. Transfer to the airport. Departure by an evening flight to Tashkent. Arrival at Tashkent Airport. Transfer to the hotel or airport for international flight home.

Arrival in Tashkent. Meeting at Tashkent airport, transfer to hotel (accommodation after 14:00 or early check in). Free time. Night at the hotel.
Day 2: Tashkent – Jizzak – Sentob (330 km, 4 h 30 min)
Travel from Tashkent to Jizzak region of Uzbekistan. Continue to Sentob village located between Nuratau Mountains and Kyzylkum desert. Overnight at the guesthouse.
Day 3: Sentob – Aydarkul (120 km, 1 h 30 min)
Today you will continue to explore Nurata district of Navoi region of Uzbekistan. Trip to Aydarkul Lake. Overnight in a yurt.
Day 4: Aydarkul – Nurata – Sarmish – Ravat – Urtakurgon – Gijduvan – Bukhara (300 km 5 h on the way)
Trip to the capital of Navoi region – Nurata city. Visit Sarmish, Ravat, Urtakurgon. In Gijduvan visit famous ceramic workshop. Continue to Bukhara.Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Bukhara
Explore the city full of wonders with your guide. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Bukhara
Continue excursion in Bukhara. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Bukhara – Shahrisabz – Samarkand (360 km 6 h)
In the morning drive to Shahrisabz. Visit the ruins of Ak Sarai (White Palace) build by the order of Amir Timur. Other architectural monuments of the city. Continue to Samarkand driving past picturesque landscapes. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Samarkand
Welcome to a legendary city of Samarkand! Excursion in the city. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9: Samarkand – Zamin (200 km 3 hours)
Travel to Zaamin National Park. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Zaamin – Tashkent (240 km 4 hours)
After exploring Zaamin drive to Tashkent. Overnight at the hotel.
