Meeting with the guide and driver. Beginning of the excursion. Visit to the square of Amir Temur, the museum of history of Temurids. Next we go to the old part of Tashkent, where we will continue our city tour by visiting the Hast-Imam complex. Hast Imam Square is home to Barak Khan madrasah built in the 16th century, Tilla Sheikh Mosque, the mausoleum of St. Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi. A special room of the Mui Muborak madrasa library holds the world-famous Koran of Osman, dated to the 7th century.
We are going to Chorsu bazaar. In this bazaar you can buy almost everything! You can find a variety of traditional souvenirs at a reasonable price here. We will explore Tashkent Metro with its beautiful stations. Then we head to the modern part of Tashkent. The Monument “Courage” is devoted to Tashkent people who survived the Tashkent earthquake on April 26, 1966. We will also visit Independence Square, the theatre of Opera and Ballet named after Alisher Navoi, we will walk through the Square of Peoples’ Friendship and visit other famous places of the city.
