Itinerary: Tashkent – Khiva – Tashkent
In Khiva you get into some completely different reality which excites your imagination and gives great food for impressions and reflection. And what is amazing about Khiva – people still live in the city like they lived before. Houses are built according to traditional urban planning rules. There are narrow streets, noisy children and aksakals (wise old men) who are in no hurry drinking tea, reclining on large tapchans in robes and traditional hats. This ancient city is the real-life story from “One Thousand and One Nights” – the moon over the minarets and mosques. And you feel like the character of Shaherezade’s tales.
