Itinerary: Tashkent –Samarkand – Tashkent
Legendary Samarkand – the capital of ancient Sogdiana is one of the oldest cities in the world, of the same age as Rome, Athens and Babylon! On this tour you will learn about the history and culture of Samarkand , see its architectural masterpieces.

Tour program:
We start from Tashkent, meeting at 06:45 at the Northern train station (or transfer from your hotel on request). You will take the high-speed train “Afrosiob.” Departure to Samarkand at 07:28. Arrival in Samarkand at 09:42, meeting with guide and driver. Beginning of a sightseeing tour: Ulugbek observatory, Saint Daniel’s mausoleum, Museum of Archaeology of Afrosiob. Lunch in a national house. After lunch, we will visit Shahi-Zinda mausoleum ensemble, Bibi Hanum mosque, bright, colorful, famous Siob bazaar, fascinating Registran Square: Ulugbek madrasah, Sherdor and Tilla-Kari. Overnight at hotel of Samarkand.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will visit the architectural memorial complex of Imam Al Buhari, a renowned scientist theologian of the Islamic world. The complex is located 25 km away from Samarkand. Return to the city. We continue to explore Samarkand: Gur-Emir mausoleum – the burial place of Timurlane, Ruhobod mausoleum. Afterwards you will pay a visit to a workshop producing the famous Samarkand (“silk”) paper according to ancient technology. Free time. In the evening transfer to the train station and departure to Tashkent on comfortable high-speed train Afrosiob at 18:00. Arrival in Tashkent at 20:10. Transfer to the hotel or airport.
